‘If Not Now, When? Generations of Sculpture in Britain, 1960 – 2022’

This exhibition has now left The Hepworth Wakefield and will be opening at The Saatchi Gallery in expanded form, beginning November 15th. It includes two of Victoria Rance’s  Sculpture to Wear series Wedding Dress and The Cloak of Invisibility, and is part of the gallery’s Season of Sculpture, which includes Boundless, a retrospective of Christo and Jeanne-Claude.

Victoria will also be showing The Shroud of Thorness at Copeland Park with The London Group Open (detail above). Thorness, a character created in 2015, also appears in the second Thinking is Making book which celebrates twenty years of The Mark Tanner Award for Sculpture, which she received in 2003.

Pulpit 2006 is showing at New Art Centre in a beautiful setting in the park alongside the Gallery, Artist’s House and Design House. The current show in the gallery is Jacob van der Beugel Wherever the two shall meet
Children are welcome at New Art Centre sculpture park and galleries.

Finally, Victoria is showing Dragon Midge, a small pewter sculpture is in Platforms Project, Athens with Cable Depot from 26-29 October 2023.
