Chris Poulton

My work is concerned primarily with the appearance of memories and the objects associated with them.

I do not seek to convey exact recollection, but rather the expression of the passage of time, from the past through to the present, invoked through prompts and external devices.

Using interwoven narrative I explore through object making, a subconscious transformation that, with closer scrutiny, may offer a true order of interpretation.
