The Cello Factory concerts during the Waterloo Festival

In conjunction with Beyond Image – the Permanent Revolution there will be two concerts at The Cello Factory.

‘La Couperin’

Beauty, opulence and character abound in this programme from 18th century Paris, celebrating François Couperin’s 350th anniversary. Baroque music experts Passacaglia introduce and explore works by some of the era’s most colourful personalities.

Harpsichord Recital – ‘Re­flections on Humanity’

People and emotions frequently form the core of artistic expression. ‑ this programme paints a diverse portrait of humanity taking inspiration from François Couperin’s catalogue of human traits, Les Folies Françoises ou Les Dominos, and through the eyes of his contemporaries.
