outsidedge e-magazine   is a web based publication and exhibition space focusing on art practices, critical and creative writing existing outside of mainstream art and culture. We believe that vital and challenging work emerges at the margins out of the grip of the fashions, styles and tastes of the market, entertainment and leisure industries. We aim to

focus on events, work and ideas that are not easy to get into circulation.

This issue of outsidedge e-magazine explores the politics and poetics of the street. We called for proposals for critical writing, artworks and links to websites that engage with the city, acoustically, visually, architecturally, with its flows, fluxes , fears and joys. The city where space, place and time are multiple, fragmented and memories and history are folded into a present, incessantly becoming, accelerating towards the future.
