Victor Kuell

I would most liken my work to that of Miles Davis the jazz musician in detached mood, where by just an "on the road" endeavour to embody discoveries arising from a conversation with the notes themselves a simple sound may travel to very distant haunts of human experience.

My paintings are portals to such realms in shape, line and colour. I would wish then to hang quietly resisting account, in the hope that the viewer may enter the intrigue of a journey into the unfamiliar.
