Victoria Bartlett

Victoria Bartlett moulds paper and other delicate materials to make images drawn from the environment we create for ourselves. Our visual and tangible anthropology.

She is inspired by relief sculpture which for centuries has expressed wordless ideas and myths.

She interprets form in both two and three dimensions using surfaces which respond to the changes of shifting light and shadow.

Her early solo exhibitions were in the U.S.A. 1974-6 also at the Camden Art Centre, London and Edward Totah Gallery 1981, Gallerie Simoncini, Luxembourg 1985, Benjamin Rhodes Gallery, London 1987 and 1991, Peralta Pictures 1994 and Piers Feetham Gallery 2007. She exhibited at the Chicago International Art Fair 1995 and also with Browse & Darby Gallery 1994-2005.

Group exhibitions in the UK include the London Group since 1978 , the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions also exhibitions in Australia, France, Poland, U.S.A. and Luxembourg.
