Moich Abrahams
Moich Abrahams

Moich Abrahams, also known as Martin, was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire (1941), and grew up in Letchworth First Garden City. He started as a mathematician and teacher, eventually becoming an advisor in Special Educational Needs.

At the age of 29, he decided to become an artist, trained at the Byam Shaw School of Art (1970-74), where he took a first class diploma, and later an MA at Goldsmiths College (1980-82). Elected as member of the London Group 1977.

His drawing and painting uses autobiographical reference and a highly imaginative style of figurative expression reflecting life around him in its visionary aspect.

Inspired by his interest in psychology and metaphysics, he also presents workshops on the Art of Intuition, which include the use of doodling and drawing as a means of obtaining intuitive data.
