My practice represents the relationship between nature, technology and even the sublime – as upon peering into another world with bold straight line structures which contrast curves and fluidity, the voids and chasms of space alluding to universes.
The unknown has always captured my imagination and my works reflect the diverse elements which surround us. I set rules for each painting which I adhere to in my process of creating although each piece evolves uniquely due to the medium and moment. I then re-evaluate at each stage of the process. These rules do not confine my practice but focus it. Painting has always been central to my practice although I also make sculpture, installation and virtual reality as I strive to represent my concept.
